Cr Allan Ezzy APM - Chairman

Allan Ezzy is the holder of a Graduate Certificate in Management from Wollongong University. He has been a Councillor on the Holroyd City Council and an elected Local Government Representative since 1974. He is a patron of numerous local community and sporting clubs.

Allan is employed as a Senior Police Prosecutor with the NSW Police. He has had an exemplary 35 year career with the NSW Police Department and highlights of his career have included a Queens Commendation for Bravery, a National Medal with two bars and the award of the Australian Police Medal in 2003.

Allan has extensive experience in urban environmental issues due to his role as a member of both a local Council and the Upper Parramatta River Catchment Trust.

Allan has been involved in working with various communities throughout the state to find solutions that would enable them to undertake much needed floodplain management or flood mitigation projects.

Cr Arch Humphrey - Deputy Chairman

Arch lives on a property on the Paterson River at Mindaribba with his wife Eileen and has been involved in beef production for 35 years.

Arch is a Councillor on Maitland City Council where he has served a term as Deputy Mayor. He has chaired the Local Floodplain Management Committee for the past five years and is the representative on the Lower Hunter Floodplain Risk Management Committee.

He was also a Councillor on the Patrick Plains Shire Council.

Arch has had nine years experience as a Trustee on the Hunter Catchment Management Trust involved in flood mitigation and environmental projects in the Hunter River Catchment he was also the trusts representative on the Paterson River Flood Study.

Arch has been very interested in water quality and water sharing issues for many years; he is at present the Deputy Chair of the Hunter River Salinity Trading Scheme involved in maintaining water quality and minimising the impact of coal mining on the river.
